Yesterday Google officially confirmed the existence of the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro smartphones. They will be produced on the company's proprietary processor and will become representatives of the premium segment. Today the company has listed the countries where it will definitely be possible to buy new items.
There were eight of them. These are Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Japan, Taiwan, Great Britain and the USA. Russia, as you can see, is not on this list.
Google did not provide an exact launch date for these countries. So far, the company is only vaguely saying that the Pixel 6 will be available for purchase in these markets in September or sometime in the fourth quarter of 2021. Also, Google did not rule out that the number of countries in the list may increase after the launch.
We do not yet know the full characteristics of the new smartphones. We only know that the standard Pixel 6 will receive a 90-Hz screen, while the older model will have a 120-Hz and rounded one.
