According to the CEO of Google Inc. Sundara Pichara, the new Tensor processor builds on the company's 20 years of experience with computers and is “the biggest innovation in the Pixel to date.”
According to the journalists of the Engadget edition, who attended the closed presentation, the actual dimensions of the new products were not announced, but, as expected, the Pixel 6 Pro is somewhat larger than previous models. Among the corporate styles will appear: peach-pastel, pastel green and black.
They clarified that the developers have improved the camera configuration, and the selfie camera has been moved from the upper left corner to the middle of the display. Thus, the new camera is capable of transmitting 150% more light and will be equipped with a telephoto lens with 4x optical zoom. It is also known that Google has redesigned its speech processing software, creating a new Speech On Device API (SODA) platform that allows applications to leverage Tensor for better speech recognition.
