Sources said that the American Google was planning to “remove” a competitor of Samsung's branded Play Store – Samsung Galaxy Store.
This is reported by The Verge. All data disclosed in the material is included in the antitrust lawsuit filed by 36 American states against the American tech giant.
For example, sources say that Google began to see the Samsung Galaxy Store as a threat after the store began to improve. In this regard, the company began to take active steps in order to get rid of the competitor. In particular, Google entered into agreements with developers, according to which they had no right to distribute their applications through third-party stores. The developers were paid compensation for this. Among other things, it is reported that Google made attempts to bribe Samsung.
Google called these claims unfounded.
