The Styrian finished the first round at the $ 7 million Sanderson Farms Championship in Jackson, Mississippi, on Thursday evening (local time) with 71 (-1) strokes, and was thus in shared 71st place.
Schwab's compatriot Sepp Straka, who lives in the USA and is already playing his third PGA Tour season, was only in 119th place. He started with 73 strokes. After day one, Sahith Theegala (USA) was in the lead with 64 strokes.
