“The Minister of Defense (Boris) Pistorius decided to transfer an additional four Leopard 2 A6 main battle tanks from the warehouses of the Bundeswehr to Ukraine. Thanks to this, Germany increases the number of delivered tanks from 14 to 18 and, together with Portugal and Sweden provides the Ukrainian battalion as a whole,” the statement said. .
Recall that Prime Minister of Poland Mateusz Morawiecki during his visit to Kiev on February 24 announced that he had brought the first Leopard 2 tanks for Ukraine. Later, Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal published a photo with these machines.
