Since January 9, Ukraine leaves the German list of high-risk countries due to Covid-19. Thus, for Ukrainians, only general rules for entering the country associated with the pandemic will apply.
So, according to DW, those who had the right to enter Germany, but were not fully vaccinated against coronavirus infection, had to serve a 10-day quarantine.
It was possible to leave the quarantine only five days after arrival and based on the results of a negative test for coronavirus.
– Ukraine has been on the list of high-risk countries for Germany since October 10 2021 year. Entry was allowed in urgent need or with a certificate of full vaccination against Covid-19. At the same time, before arriving in Germany, it was necessary to register on a special website and have a confirmation of registration upon entry, says the text of the publication.
Now special rules are no longer applicable to Ukrainian tourists.
Ukrainians will only be subject to general rules for entering the country: persons over six years old will need to present a negative coronavirus test, or a certificate of a full course of vaccinations. It will also be possible to enter with a certificate of recent recovery.
Earlier it became known that since January 7, the German authorities have tightened quarantine restrictions in connection with the rapid spread of the new Covid-19 strain – Omicron.
In particular, the rules of operation of restaurants and bars have changed.
