German Foreign Minister Annalena Burbock spoke about the departure of observers from the mission of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) from Donbass. She wrote about this on her official Twitter account.

Burbock commented on the departure of the OSCE mission from Donbass and called for the work of observers in the region.

“Now more than ever, the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission plays a key role in efforts to achieve de-escalation and as the eyes and ears of the international community. We must ensure that she can fully fulfill her mandate and continuously,” the German Foreign Minister stressed.

Earlier, the departure of the OSCE mission staff from the Donbass was caught on video. They took out several cars, including one with a trailer.

On February 13, it became known that members of the OSCE mission from the United States began to leave Donetsk. At the same time, the organization itself has not yet commented on the departure of the observers. The head of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic, Denis Pushilin, called this situation a signal of readiness for US provocations.
