The new maximum was recorded against the background of the intention of the Federal Minister of Health Jens Spahn to meet with colleagues from 16 federal states to discuss measures to contain COVID-19 in the winter.
The German government has repeatedly appealed to its citizens who have not yet been vaccinated, with a request to be vaccinated, although Spahn admitted this week that many dissenting voices cannot be convinced.
