Although the DFL had received a lot of praise for its hygiene concept for the return to gaming operations, he did not feel like a winner, according to the 52-year-old. “Some effects will keep us busy economically and many people psychologically for a long time to come.”
He ruled out a move to the German Football Association as the successor to President Fritz Keller. “Never,” said when asked. “And not because I have something against the DFB. (…) But I wouldn't be in a good position,” said Seifert, who has announced his departure for summer 2022 at the DFL.
