The leader of the “Alternative for Germany” urged not to forget about Russia's contribution to the unification of Germany

German MP, leader of the Alternative for Germany Tino Khrupalla urged that Russia's contribution to the unification of Germany should not be forgotten, TASS reports.
“Just in these days, we should not forget about the contribution that Russia has made for Germany and Europe,” Khrupalla said at an emergency meeting of the German Bundestag dedicated to the Russian military operation in Ukraine.
According to Khrupalla, Moscow's actions made the unification of Germany possible, for which the Germans are still grateful.
Earlier, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said that the Russian Federation threatens the security of Europe, although “in the long term” the security of the Old World “cannot be ensured against Russia.”
