Corona cases at Hertha BSC change the season finish
First a “quasi-quarantine” at home, then a quarantine training camp in the hotel: As expected, the German Football League has tightened the corona rules for the end of the season in the Bundesliga and 2nd Bundesliga. Before the last two rounds, from May 12th, all 36 professional clubs must completely isolate themselves from the outside world. That was decided by the DFL Presidium on Thursday.
The measures are a reaction to the latest Corona cases at Hertha BSC and until the end of the season on 22/23. May mandatory. This is to ensure the regular end of the 2020/21 season. The Berliners are currently in quarantine until April 29th and then have to play three additional games.
