The Ordinary General Assembly in Velden today elected KR Gerhard Milletich as the new ÖFB President with 11: 2 votes. He succeeds Leo Windtner after a 12-year term in office. At the same time, Windtner was appointed honorary president of the ÖFB.

Gerhard Milletich has been closely associated with football in various functions for decades. The 65-year-old entrepreneur has been President of the Burgenland Football Association since 2012 and was chairman of the SC / ESV Parndorf for 27 years. Full-time, Milletich runs the business of Bohmann Verlag, one of the largest publishing houses in Austria, as co-owner.
