The Russian army has two options: either be destroyed or surrender.
This was announced by Lieutenant General, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny.
– The whole world sees how the aggressor state, the Russian Federation, is waging a bloody war against Ukraine, using long-range and operational-tactical aviation with the use of long-range precision weapons. The sights of the Russian invaders are peaceful cities, but they cold-bloodedly pull the trigger, which makes them war criminals,” wrote the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces.
He said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine rebuffed an aggressor of such magnitude that in order to continue the offensive, he was forced to mobilize to form a reserve.
“Now the enemy has lost tactical initiative and slowed down the pace of advance,” he wrote.
Valery Zaluzhny said that on March 1, during stubborn battles in the Chernobyl direction, the chief of staff of the 36th Russian army (Ulan-Ude) of the Eastern Military District was wounded, and the commander of the 11th separate airborne assault was killed (according to other sources, was injured) in the Seversky operational area. brigade (Ulan-Ude) of the Airborne Troops of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
– We are on our own land, and therefore we will defend it to the last drop of blood. Both his own and the invader,” he wrote.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine added infographics, according to which, since the beginning of the war on February 24 and as of February 28, Russia has suffered losses of 5.3 thousand in personnel. This is comparable to the First Chechen Campaign, which lasted from 1994 to 1996 and killed just over 5,000 people.
