Russian Gazprom completely stops the Nord Stream gas pipeline after carrying out routine maintenance until the elimination of all comments on the operation of the equipment.
Gazprom reported an oil leak during work on the unit at the Portovaya station.
This was reported in the press service of the company.
“At the gas compressor unit Trent 60 (GNA No. 24) of the Portovaya compressor station, which is carried out jointly with representatives of Siemens, an oil leak with an admixture of a sealing compound was detected at the connectors of the terminal connections of the cable lines of the low and intermediate rotor speed sensors,” the statement says.
At the same time, Gazprom assured that the act of detecting an oil leak was also signed by representatives of Siemens .
The Russian company claims that the detected malfunctions do not allow for the safe trouble-free operation of the gas turbine engine. So the further operation of the Trent unit is stopped.

Recall that earlier the Kremlin threatened the European Union if a price limit for Russian gas was introduced.
