Gazprom announced its readiness to start additional gas supplies to Europe cheaper than the spot

Gazprom is ready to supply additional volumes of gas to Europe under existing long-term contracts. This was told by the representative of the company Sergey Kupriyanov, according to RIA Novosti.
He clarified that the price of such supplies will be significantly lower than on the spot.
Earlier, Kupriyanov called the accusations of insufficient gas supplies to Europe a lie. He also noted that a number of Gazprom's clients, including those from France and Germany, have fully developed their contract volumes and are not submitting more bids.
Prior to this, Bloomberg sources reported that the decline in Russian gas supplies to Europe was due to a decrease in the number of customer requests for fuel.
