Gazprom CEO Miller: Nord Stream 2 is fully operational

The Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline is completely ready for operation, announced the head of Gazprom, Alexei Miller, writes TASS. Miller made the corresponding statement at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, dedicated to the passage of the autumn-winter heating season.
He added that the filling of the second line was completed on December 29. “And now both the first and the second strings of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline are under operating pressure and are fully ready for operation,” he said.

On December 23, Miller announced that the second string of Nord Stream 2 will be under operating pressure by the end of the year, and the gas pipeline will be fully ready for launch.
Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak, in turn, stressed on December 29 that Moscow is confident that it is impossible to disrupt the implementation of Nord Stream 2, and gas will be supplied to Europe via it.
