The GTS operator of Ukraine provided the technical possibility of resuming gas transportation to the city of Izyum, Kharkiv region . The specialists of Kharkivgaz are engaged in the restoration of distribution gas networks and the launch of gas supply to the city.
In Donetsk, Zaporozhye, Kiev, Luhansk, Mykolaiv, Kharkiv and Kherson regions , 35 gas distribution stations have been stopped due to the military aggression of the Russian occupiers.
The most critical is the situation in the Kiev and Donetsk regions, where about a million people remain without gas. The resumption of gas transportation is now extremely difficult due to significant damage to the regional gas networks.
The inhabitants of these regions were on the verge of a humanitarian catastrophe – without heat and the ability to cook food. Specialists of the OGTSU and local regional gas companies are doing their best to minimize the number of outages and restore gas supply.
The company controls the operational management of the gas transmission system despite the hostilities and continues to transport gas for the needs of Ukraine.
According to operational information, over the past day, on March 6, the GTS operator of Ukraine transported 78.8 million cubic meters of gas for domestic consumers.
