Former Deputy Minister of Education Igor Garbaruk for the first time after the scandal commented on his resignation.
So, he wrote in his social networks that an official should always be responsible for himself and for his subordinates.
He clarified that today, December 29, he received a work book and an order to dismiss.
– I really wrote a statement of my own free will. My position: a government official is responsible not only for himself, but also for his subordinates. This is an absolutely normal European practice, which I adhere to, ”the ex-deputy minister said.
He added that he had a choice and he could not write a statement.
Garbaruk also thanked colleagues from the Ministry of Education and other ministries for their cooperation.
– I sincerely hope that the institution of reputation will gradually be formed in society, and every politician and official will be responsible for their words and deeds with honor and dignity. Happy New Year, everyone! I believe and know that next year will give Ukraine many positive events and victories! – stressed the ex-deputy minister.
