Martin Kraus during the sympathetic ORF interview
FC Marchfeld was not to be envied in the 0: 6 against LASK, only goalie Martin Kraus could shine – even after the game during the interview!
The goalkeeper had to reach behind him six times, but was still full of euphoria after the cup game against LASK. But his voice – like his defenders – did not play along.
“Of course, one or the other goal would have been less bullying,” said the Marchfeld goalie before his voice left him.
He bravely tries to continue his ORF interview with a frog in his throat: “Sorry, I don't have a voice anymore,” laughed the 27-year-old.
“We can't blame ourselves, 6-0 was a bit too high,” the goalkeeper croaked on. Coughing, he fought his way on: “You could see that the regional league clubs generally had no chance!”
Then ORF reporter Christian Diendorfer finally released the likeable goalkeeper.
