Lukashenko plans to surprise Putin by giving him a piece of cream cheese with an image of the Kremlin.
An “exclusive” gift for Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin has been prepared in Minsk. The self-proclaimed leader of Belarus is preparing to give him a unique – “presidential” – cheese.
This was reported by the press secretary of the leader of Belarus, Natalya Eismont, Russian media reports.
She stated that everything seems to be fine with the Belarusians when it comes to “keeping their promises.”
“As I’m sure you know, we’re doing well in terms of fulfilling our promises – we don’t have to wait three years,” Eismont said.
Lukashenko responded enthusiastically to the name of the cheese – “presidential”.
“Maybe it's Putin, the president? Do it here, draw the Kremlin, and I'll give it to him. If you pass it on, I'll give it to him,” Lukashenko noted.
Earlier, against the backdrop of a potato shortage in Belarus, the country's self-proclaimed president, Alexander Lukashenko, recommended that citizens reduce their consumption of this product.
“Once a week, twice at most, and then baked, mashed,” he said.
Lukashenko added that excessive consumption of potatoes threatens to lead to excess weight gain, while the diet he proposed will have a beneficial effect on the figure.
“If we eat potatoes, as we write in the textbooks, we will not be thin,” said the Belarusian leader, who has long had problems due to his obesity.
