Friends who worked together for eight years turned out to be sisters

by alex

In the United States, two friends who worked together in the same bar for eight years turned out to be sisters. This story is reported by The Sun.

Julia Tinetti, 31, and Cassandra Madison, 32, met in 2013 when they started working at the Russian Lady Bar in New Haven, Connecticut. At first, strangers pointed out their similarities to women. After that, Julia drew attention to Cassandra's tattoo in the form of the flag of the Dominican Republic. The girls found a coincidence — they were both born there, but were adopted. From that moment on, the colleagues became friends and even jokingly began to call themselves sisters.

They had assumptions about a possible relationship, but the information in the documents did not coincide – they contained different cities of birth and different names of mothers. In 2021, Cassandra met with her biological parents in the Dominican Republic and learned the truth from them. It turned out that the family had nine children, and the parents had to abandon two girls, since they could not support such a large family. A DNA test confirmed the relationship between Cassandra and Julia.

“We are sisters! Same mom, same dad! It's just that two girls who had a chance to work together found out that they were sisters, ”Cassandra wrote on her Facebook page.

Earlier, a TikTok user named Carol Liu talked about how she found out that her older sister, with whom she has an age difference of 16 years, is actually her mother, and her parents are actually her grandparents.
