French Prime Minister Jean Castex considers it necessary to focus on developing measures that would prevent the need to introduce total quarantine due to the coronavirus.
“The question is not whether to be for or against quarantine, but how to do everything to avoid it,” the head of government wrote on Twitter.
According to him, the French prefects held a meeting in the format of a video conference in order to develop new proposals to combat COVID-19.
Earlier, Kasteks said that the situation with the incidence of coronavirus infection in France has worsened in recent days.
The country has a curfew from 18:00 to 06:00.
