French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian held a briefing during which he spoke about the trips of French President Emmanuel Macron to Kiev, Moscow and Berlin.
Le Drian specified that Macron held discussions to achieve de-escalation on the Ukrainian-Russian border, and also discussed the Normandy format with his interlocutors.
The French minister added that tomorrow he plans to hold talks with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken.
Recall that the President of France this week held talks with the Presidents of Ukraine and Russia, Vladimir Zelensky and Vladimir Putin. Among the main topics of discussion was the danger of a new Russian invasion of Ukraine, as well as the pulling of Russian troops to the Ukrainian border.
