Denis François, Consul General of France in Morocco, committed suicide. The fact of death is reported on the embassy's website, and the Le360 portal revealed its cause.
“The entire team of the French Embassy shares the grief of the family, relatives and friends, to whom it expresses the most sincere condolences,” the embassy said in a statement. Le 36 claims that the 55-year-old consul committed suicide in the apartment – a rope was found in it. The reasons for the suicide are unknown, but it is emphasized that François asked to be relieved of his post almost immediately after his appointment on September 15.
On September 30, it was reported that a beaten employee of the US Embassy Sanver Nikaelo died in Kiev. She was found on one of the streets of the Shevchenko district of the Ukrainian capital with a head injury in an unconscious state. The woman was hospitalized, but the doctors were unable to save her.
