French oil and gas company TotalEnergies announced the cessation of purchases of Russian oil and oil products by the end of 2022.

“Given the deteriorating situation in Ukraine and the availability of alternative sources of supply to Europe, TotalEnergies unilaterally decided not to conclude or renew contracts for the purchase of Russian oil and oil products in order to stop all purchases of Russian oil and oil products as soon as possible and no later than 2022,” the company said.
