Renault (RENA.PA) will only suspend some operations at its car assembly plants in Russia next week due to logistics bottlenecks , leading to component shortages, its local divisions said on Friday.

The decision of Renault to resume production has the support of the French government, which is its main shareholder, sources cited by Reuters say.

Renault has a controlling stake in the automaker AvtoVAZ (about 40,000 employees).

At the Moscow plant, Renault assembles Duster and Arkana crossovers for Russia and Kaptur and the Nissan Terrano SUV.

More than 180 companies exit the Russian market.

On March 14, work in Russia or cooperate with the country and its citizens, Almost 200 companies refused to supply their products and services there.
