Returning Karim Benzema reported fit before the first European Championship match between soccer world champions France and Germany. “Yesterday I resumed team training. After that I had no pain or discomfort. So I'm 100 percent ready for action,” the Real Madrid striker told Telefoot on Sunday.
The 33-year-old, who had returned to the Equipe Tricolore after six years before this tournament, was hit on the thigh in the last European Championship test against Bulgaria (3-0). France will meet Germany in Munich on Tuesday. France coach Didier Deschamps is also not worried about the striker's use. “We took the necessary care.
