Tensions between France and Russia have increased recently.
France summoned Russian Ambassador Alekei Meshkov on Monday, February 5, to the country's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

It is noted that the ambassador should show dissatisfaction with the Russian strikes that killed two French aid workers in Ukraine.
“Paris will 'condemn the reinstatement of disinformation targeting France' days after the Ministry of the Armed Forces discovered a 'coordinated maneuver by Russia' to spread false information concerning France,” it said.
In addition, tensions between France and Russia have increased recently. Previously, Moscow accused France of “militaristic madness” after announcing new arms supplies to Kyiv.
“France also expects to be the target of a new wave of Russian disinformation, while President Emmanuel Macron is expected to visit Ukraine in February,” the report said.

Recall that on February 1, the Russian Federation attacked Berislav with drones. As a result of the attack by the invaders, two French citizens were killed. Three more foreigners and one Ukrainian were wounded.
