In just the last day, COVID-19 in France was detected in more than 16 thousand people. The total number of cases since the beginning of the coronavirus epidemic in the country is more than 497 thousand. 31,511 people died.
The previous record for the daily daily increase in people infected with coronavirus in France was recorded on September 12. Then, 10,561 cases of COVID-19 infection were registered in the country.
Earlier, European Commissioner for Health Stella Kyriakidis said that the situation with coronavirus in several European countries has deteriorated significantly.
