France needs help from allies during the Olympic Games.

France turned to Greece with a request for the CROTALE anti-aircraft system to cover the sky during the Olympic Games.

This is reported by Kathimerini.

The publication's sources report that Paris wants to send part of its anti-aircraft systems to Ukraine, but France needs the help of its allies during the Olympic Games to cover critical infrastructure.

“The corresponding correspondence between Athens and Paris began at the diplomatic level in November last year. The French offer two ways to transport the array. Or, according to the model of the development of Patriot by the PA company in Saudi Arabia for the protection of critical infrastructure, but it is unknown whether they will cover whether they are expenses, as in the case of Riyadh. Or due to rent for a period longer than the duration of the Olympic Games,” the publication notes.

Recall that it was previously reported that Greece refused to provide Ukraine with air defense systems and gave the reason.

In addition, we previously informed that the flame of the 2024 Olympic Games was lit in Greece.
