Moscow. 22 of October. INTERFAX.RU – Fragments of the second stage of the Soyuz rocket launched on October 14 from the Vostochny cosmodrome have been found in Yakutia, the press service of the Center for Operation of Ground Space Infrastructure Facilities reported.

“In the area of the fall on the territory of the Kobyaysk ulus of the Republic of Sakha, tanks of fuel, oxidizer and fragments of the second stage propulsion system were found,” the press service said.

According to her, earlier in the Amur region, fragments of the first stage were found.

Also, TsENKI specialists continue to work on the evacuation of fragments of the Soyuz rocket launched from Vostochny on August 22.

The Soyuz-2.1b rocket with 36 satellites of the British company OneWeb was launched from the Vostochny cosmodrome on October 14.

LEO OneWeb spacecraft are designed to provide terrestrial consumers with high-speed Internet directly via satellite communications. Roskosmos plans to carry out ten launches with such spacecraft in 2021.
