The baby miraculously survived.
In the USA, a four-month-old boy was killed by a powerful tornado thrown from his family's mobile home, found alive on a fallen tree.
Metro writes about this.
A baby's father tried to grab a stroller when a tornado hit their home in Clarksville, Tennessee, ripping off the roof, but he was also sucked in.
His girlfriend Sydney Moore said: “He was holding the stroller the whole time, and they were walking in circles, and then they were thrown.”
At the same time, in another room, Sydney jumped on her eldest son, but the walls fell, trapping them below. She managed to free them from the rubble, and they spent 10 minutes searching for the baby in the pouring rain.
“I was pretty sure he was dead and we wouldn't find him,” Sydney said.
But the baby was found on a tree.
“He is here, and it is by God's grace,” said the mother.
Sydney's sister, Caitlin Moore, wrote on the GoFundMe page: “We are told that he looked as if he had been carefully placed on a tree. Like an angel guided him safely to this place.”
Caitlin said the tornado that tore through their trailer on Beaglen Road on Saturday “picked them up, threw them, picked them up again, and then ended.”
She added: “Oh my god, a four month old baby had to tape his ear because of a cut.”
Sidney's fiancé broke his arm and shoulder, but “luckily everyone escaped with minor cuts and bruises,” her sister shared.
The family lost their home, car, baby food, diapers, wipes and clothes, and one of their cats disappeared. Their rental company put them up in a hotel for a month.
A family's survival became an inspiring story during a tragic storm that killed six people in the state.
Remember, a boy who has been missing for 6 years, told his story for the first time. He shared it with the truck driver who picked him up.
