In the United States in New York, doctors confirmed the death of four and the injuries of three people who were attacked with a knife and killed by a relative of the victims.

According to Chief of the New York Police Department Jeff Meddry, on the morning of Sunday, December 3, law enforcement officers responded to a call in the Far Rockaway area, where they found victims of an attack in a burning house.
In addition to killing the family, the suspect stabbed and wounded two police officers when they tried to detain him. In response, the law enforcement officers shot at the criminal. He later died in the hospital.
According to the head of the police department, law enforcement officers were called by a young woman who told 911 that her “cousin was killing members of her family.”
At the crime scene, police found an 11-year-old girl at the entrance to the house. She was taken to hospital but later died from her injuries.
After the New York City Fire Department arrived on the scene, emergency responders found the bodies of three other people in the house: a 12-year-old boy, a 44-year-old woman and a 30-year-old man.
Law enforcement also called an ambulance for a 61-year-old woman, who was taken to the hospital with multiple stab wounds.
Police believe all victims died as a result of stab wounds, and a steak knife was found at the scene.
The NYPD has identified a suspect. He turned out to be 39-year-old Courtney Gordon, who had previously been arrested for domestic violence.
At the time of the attack, he was visiting his family in Queens.
Police said the investigation is ongoing.
Meanwhile, in Ukraine, in the Lviv region, a 40-year-old man stabbed a 50-year-old woman to death. After the murder, in order to hide traces of the crime, he dismembered her body in the bathroom.
The attacker is currently in custody.
