In Kiev, they saved the life of a man who was found tied up in the basement of a garage cooperative. He was taken hostage by the relatives of his ex-wife.
The victim spent more than a day in a closed garage in the cold, without food or water.
The husband's wife reported the disappearance to the police, and neighbors confirmed that they had seen a daring attack from windows of their apartments.
& # 8220; Family & # 8221; kidnapping
It turned out that the main perpetrator of the crime against her husband was the brother of his ex-wife.
Together with his accomplices, he lay in wait under his house, and when the man returned home and was already near the entrance, the crowd pounced on him.
The victim was sprayed in the face with a gas can, pushed into a car and taken to the outskirts of Kiev.
Subsequently, the man realized that the scheme with the hijacking was invented by his ex-wife with mother-in-law. The purpose of the women was to intimidate in order to extort money.
While the attackers were looking for the police, they themselves contacted and announced the ransom amount – $ 2 thousand

The hijackers were detained thanks to street surveillance cameras.
Most of them & # 8212; foreigners, however, they were helped by a 29-year-old Ukrainian who already had problems with the law.
Four of the defendants have already been informed of the suspicion. Despite the fact that the victim was saved and his life is not in danger, the attackers could face up to five years in prison for what they did.
