Ukrainian soldier Maxim Kupriychuk died on February 25 together with his brothers-in-arms near the village of Tomarino near Kherson. Lyudmila Kupriychuk, the mother of the deceased soldier, returned to Ukraine and was not afraid to leave for the body of her son.
Russian infidels fired at a convoy of military equipment, on board of which was Maxim Kupriychuk. The fighters survived, after which some fled into the field, and someone moved to the armored personnel carrier. Subsequently, the Russians hit the armored personnel carrier with a shell, as a result of which the Ukrainian fighters burned down. Maxim died from a shrapnel wound to the head.
Maxim's mother and father went to the front line to look for their son
The body of the military Maxim Kupriychuk was found near the Shilova Balka nature reserve. The fighter's mother received the tragic news in the Czech Republic and immediately returned to Ukraine.
The woman was urged to wait for the green corridor, because it was impossible to take out the body. But together with Maxim's father, they decided to leave to look for the body of their son.
At first they were looking for hospitals, they thought maybe just wounds … Everyone was surprised how we took such risks, in front of us on the way the family was shot … But we had nothing to lose, she said.
Lyudmila said that she had met with a fighter from the occupied Donbass, who allowed his parents to take away the body if they found him.
“We knew roughly where our child was, comrade Maxima told us, he managed to survive during the shelling. And we searched in a field among the corpses, and a column with rashist symbols Z…” was passing nearby,” the woman said.
She said that infidels did not allow the bodies of Ukrainian dead soldiers to be taken away and left their dead comrades in the combat zone.
Maxim's parents could not find his body, but his father recognized his son by the tattoo on his arm.
< p class="bloquote cke-markup"> I was at the car and the man went looking for it himself. I searched for a long time, and now I stopped at the deceased warrior. The faces are unrecognizable because the shell hit the head. He tore off his pea coat, saw the tattoo on his son's arm, and sat down on the ground in despair. And then I started screaming in pain all over the field, – Lyudmila recalled.
The mother of the killed soldier noted that infidels approached her and asked her how she felt about the war. “I asked him what he wants to hear at the moment when we have just found the body of our 20-year-old son?” the woman said.
According to her, people also wanted to take the dead Ukrainians out of the field warriors, to which the occupier smiled cynically and said, “why let them wallow.”
Lyudmila said that her husband wrapped his son's body in a blanket and put it in the trunk. So the deceased Maxim was brought to his native Vinnitsa region, where he was buried.
