In Kiev, a man was detained who was carrying an object that looked like a grenade in his pocket. He faces up to seven years behind bars.
The incident took place on Chernobyl street in the Svyatoshinsky district of the capital.
“During a superficial examination, law enforcement officers found an object similar to an RGD-5 grenade and an ardor for it in the Kiev citizen’s pocket,” the message says.
According to the preliminary conclusion of the specialists of the specialized service, the seized belonged to the category of ammunition suitable for an explosion.
At the same time, under what circumstances the examination of the man began, it is not noted.

Criminal proceedings were opened under Part 1 of Art. 263 (Carrying ammunition without a legal permit) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The sanction of the article provides for from three to seven years in prison. In the near future, the man will be announced of suspicion.
