In the temporarily occupied Donbass, a mobilized Russian jumped out of a moving car. The occupier fought against Ukraine in 2014 and was traveling to a penal colony in Luhansk.
This was reported by 24 Kanal with reference to ASTRA. The mercenary was transported by convoy to Lugansk.
Russian occupier dies on way to Lugansk
A military mercenary named Leonid Lyubkin jumped out of a car on the highway. According to Russian media, this happened on the night of June 30. The occupier was being transported in a military UAZ along the Volgograd-Kamensk-Shakhtinsky highway under escort.
On the road to Lugansk, Leonid opened the car door and jumped out onto the road. The Russian died on the spot from his injuries.
There are several interesting facts about Lyubkin on the Internet. In particular, it is known that he took part in the battles near Debaltsevo during the anti-terrorist operation in Ukraine. Since he was involved in Russia's aggression against Ukraine, Leonid Lyubkin was added to the “Peacemaker” database.
The Russian also had problems with the law, was convicted of assault and theft. After returning, Lyubkin continued to serve in the Russian army – in a military unit in the city of Volgograd. Why the occupier was transported to Lugansk under escort is unknown.
By the way, Russian media write that on the evening of June 30 their army lost in the temporarily occupied Donetsk Lieutenant Colonel Ruslan Garyachkin. The occupier could have died during the shelling. Propaganda says that his life was cut short allegedly “in the line of duty” in the Donetsk direction. The soldier was the commander of the 8th Guards Army of Russia.
