Max Verstappen took pole position for the Belgian Grand Prix in a chaotic qualifying. The Dutchman in the Red Bull caught sensation George Russell in the finish, who starts from the front row in front of world champion Lewis Hamilton.
After a serious accident by Lando Norris, the qualification was temporarily stopped. The Brit lost control of his McLaren on a wet track on Saturday and crashed into the barriers after the legendary Eau Rouge corner. His car was badly damaged. At first sight, the 21-year-old got out of his car unharmed.
Norris showed a strong performance beforehand and even had a chance of taking pole position for the race on Sunday (3 p.m. / Sky).
