The Formula 1 Grand Prix in Tuscany, Italy was stopped due to two accidents. The correspondent of “Lenta.ru” informs about it.
At the start of the race, Red Bull driver Max Verstappen and Alpha Tauri driver Pierre Gasly collided. Both athletes flew off the track and could not continue the race. After this incident, an even more serious accident occurred, in which four cars took part.
The cars of the pilots Carlos Sainz (McLaren), Kevin Magnussen (Haas), Antonio Giovinazzi (Alpha Romeo) and Nicolas Latifi (Williams) collided. All of them were forced to retire, and the race was stopped by red flags due to the large amount of debris on the track.
The next Grand Prix will be held in Sochi. The racing weekend in Russia is scheduled for September 25-27.
