Five businessmen of the Russian Federation personally opposed the war.
“Handshake” Putin has a few big business people: Yuri Kovalchuk, Gennady Timchenko, Sergei Chemezov. And all these business people come to Putin directly.
Ilya Ponomarev, a former State Duma deputy, spoke about this in an interview with the publication.
“Putin is constantly approached by such “aces”. For their part, there are a number of big businessmen under them. Russian business is largely organized in such a way that there are old and emerging oligarchs. Old people: Roman Abramovich, Vladimir Potanin, Oleg Deripaska, Mikhail Prokhorov. And there are smaller ones that have grown up: Alexander Abramov, Andrey Melnichenko. For example, Prokhorov's “Roof” is Chemezov. I am 90% sure that big businessmen are already going to their “roof” with the words: let’s do something about this ,” said Ilya Ponomarev.
According to him, Russian business is already aware that Putin has played too much. Now he is actually destroying their business and personal well-being.
“The head of the Central Bank, Elvira Nabiulinna, wanted to resign, but they didn’t let her. I know Elya well personally, she is a hard workaholic, very fond of order. I have no doubts: if she had been told in advance what to prepare for, something to do, she would have done, ”added the former State Duma deputy.
He also noted that five businessmen personally opposed the war: Deripaska, Fridman, Abramovich, Tinkov, Lisin. But the whole business does not take this position.
