Who was Vladimir Troitsky
Vladimir Troitsky headed the Orsha Aircraft Repair Plant from 2007 to 2015. The enterprise specializes in repairing helicopters, in particular various modifications of the Mi-8, and at one time belonged to the Ukrainian company Motor Sich.
In 2018, he was sentenced in Belarus to four years in a maximum security penal colony with confiscation of property. Troitsky was found guilty of abuse of office during the construction of an airfield in 2011-2013.
According to Troitsky himself, his criminal case was allegedly an “order” from the Ukrainian people’s deputy and general director of Motor Sich, Vyacheslav Boguslayev.
In those years, the Ukrainian company acquired 60 percent of the shares of the Orsha Aircraft Repair Plant and planned to invest in its development. However, already in 2018, the self-proclaimed President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko announced the nationalization of the enterprise.
Let us recall that the son of the former president of Motor Sich, Oleksandr Boguslayev, was detained in Monaco in May 2025 on suspicion of embezzling the company's assets. His assets worth half a billion hryvnias were frozen.
