Former 50th President of Argentina, Carlos Menem, has passed away at the age of 90 in Buenos Aires. On Sunday, February 14, the newspaper El Pais reports.
According to the publication, he suffered from health problems for a long time. Menem died from heart complications caused by an infection. It is clarified that in December the politician was hospitalized with infection of the urinary system.
Carlos Menem served as President of Argentina from 1989 to 1999.
