The proof of the “falsity of the statements” of the United States is its recent missile tests. This was stated by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova, quoted by RIA Novosti.
It is noted that they took place on November 17 in the Pacific Ocean: we are talking about launching a Standard-3 interceptor missile from a sea platform at a target imitating an intercontinental ballistic missile. “This is a new confirmation of the dangerous and destabilizing nature of Washington's line on missile defense, its obvious anti-Russian orientation,” Zakharova said.
She noted that earlier Washington had assured that the interception of Russian intercontinental ballistic missiles by American systems was technically impossible. However, the tests allegedly indicate that this is not the case and the US missile defense, on the contrary, is “directed against Russia.” Zakharova believes that this proves how Washington manipulated public opinion on far-fetched pretexts.
Earlier it was reported that China was preparing to unite with Russia against the “hegemony of individual countries.” Beijing intends to continue its relations with Moscow at the highest level.
