The President of Lebanon Michel Aoun said that the government will consider all the causes of the explosion of the port of Beirut, including the possibility of foreign intervention. It quoted Reuters.
“The cause [of the explosion] has not yet been established. There is the possibility of outside intervention: [to launch] a missile [could detonate] a bomb or something” — said Aung. In addition, the politician called the other causes of the explosion: it could have happened due to negligence or accident.
The Lebanese leader added that he would ask other countries to help with the investigation. So, awn will appeal to the international community if it refuses to help France.
