“A giant blocking anticyclone, which in meteorology is sometimes called a 'greenhouse cauldron', has established itself throughout the entire troposphere and is even traced in the lower stratosphere at an altitude of 10-12 km, blocking the paths to winds and blocking the western transport that brings stormy cyclones […] will last up to 12 days, ”the message says.

The center added that July 2021 will be included in meteorological history “as one of the driest in the last 55 years.”
