Russian President Vladimir Putin sent out Christmas and New Year greetings to world leaders. However, the president of Ukraine and the leader of Georgia were left without a greeting from the head of the Kremlin.

Putin's New Year greetings to leaders of different countries of the world appeared on the official website of the Kremlin on December 30.

So, among those who were congratulated Vladimir Putin Happy New Year and Merry Christmas, leaders of 42 countries, in particular: the new German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, US President Joe Biden and French President Emmanuel Macron. The head of the Kremlin also congratulated former leaders: for example, Angela Merkel, Silvio Berlusconi and Benjamin Netanyahu.

For the second year in a row, there is no President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky in the congratulatory list, and the leader of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili, is also absent.

The heads of international organizations received separate congratulations from Putin: UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres, Head of the International Monetary Fund Kristalina Georgieva, President of the International Olympic Committee Thomas Bach.
