Ex-Rapid sports director Fredy Bickel could return to the football business: Hannover 96 should deal with the Swiss.

After leaving SK Rapid in May 2019, the 55-year-old worked for almost a season as managing director at Grasshoppers Zurich. Bickel has been without a club since April 2020.
This could change now. As the kicker reports, Bickel is traded at the traditional German club Hannover 96. There Bickel could replace the Austrian Gerhard Zuber.
Bickel is now said to be the most promising candidate to succeed Zuber – the former Mainz sports director Rouven Schröder is another candidate.
Hannover 96 is in the 2nd Bundesliga on the disappointing 13th place in the table, Fredy Bickel – closer to relegation than promotion. Bickel is said to be interested in the job in Lower Saxony.
