Neo-Major-League-Soccer-Klub Charlotte FC sign the Austrian Christian Fuchs. The 78-time ÖFB team player said goodbye to Leicester City at the end of the season.

The 35-year-old will join Charlotte FC in January 2022, where Fuchs will play a key role. Fuchs signs for one season with an option for another.
“As a versatile defender Christian should play an integral role,” says sports director Zoran Krneta. “He is an experienced leader who has already proven himself at the highest level.”
Fuchs is also looking forward to the new task: “I'm impressed by Charlotte's vision. It's a great opportunity to build something. We want to make Charlotte FC a winning club.”
Fuchs said goodbye to FA Cup winners Leicester City at the end of the season. The 35-year-old can look back on a Premier League title, an FA Cup title and 152 games for the Foxes. Fuchs was under contract with Leicester for a total of six years.
