On February 4, the YouTube video hosting blocked accounts associated with the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics.
They were blocked:
- channel of the “Ministry of Information of the DPR”;
- the channel of the “People’s militia of the DPR”;
- The channel of the “State TV and Radio Company of the LPR”;
- the channel of the “People’s militia of the LPR”;
- the channel of the Lugansk Information Center.
In all cases, it is indicated that the channels were blocked “for violating community rules””
Recall that on February 4, the YouTube video hosting also blocked the TV channels of People’s Deputy from OPZH Nestor Shufrich UkrLive and the First Independent.
The latter have been under sanctions of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine since December 28.
According to the decree of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, the sanctions provide for the blocking of assets, the cancellation of licenses and the prohibition of the use of telecommunications networks for a period of for five years.
