Scientists at the Guangdong Institute of Technology have created a robot with four fans. The aircraft can take off vertically and take long strides without losing stability.
The development of Chinese specialists is intended mainly to help other robots that cannot cope with an obstacle during work or just movement. The Jet-HR2 – as the development is called – has a stabilization system consisting of four fans, two of which are built into the legs, and two into the upper part of the case. The robot also has two powerful batteries for greater autonomy. It is noted that the Jet-HR2 has fans built into the middle of the legs so that the thrust vector passes along them.
Experts have written two controllers for the robot, with the help of which the operator can adjust the stabilization during the flight. It is noted that the flights are in test mode, so while the specialists use safety guides.
